My Review of Against the Rules
Kiera Arlington is raising her daughter, Luana by herself, and she has rules. I liked Kiera from the start. She is a strong and determined female character. Her priority in life is Luana, and that is a quality I can admire. Josh is funny, caring, of course handsome. It's no wonder that Kiera goes for him.
Against the Rules was a sweet romance with a few hurdles for the main characters to overcome. This is my first Julia Black book, and will definitely be keeping a watch for her work. I loved the characters, their personalities, and their baggage they brought to the story. The story wasn't written with a lot of fillers, but I was able to feel what the characters felt.
My review is based on the following scale:
1 star: didn't like it
2 star: it was okay
3 star: liked it
4 star: really liked it
5 star: it was awesome
