18 only. To enjoy this title you should have first read Pretty Stolen Dolls.
Benny had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick.
Just like him, his dolly needed darkness as a fix, fix, fix.
So they tormented and hunted and played tricks, tricks, tricks.
Together their sins a lethal mix, mix, mix.
Until Benny missed his dolly who was lost, lost, lost.
He needed to find her and love her at any cost, cost, cost.
Not wanting him and his dolly to be alone, lone, lone.
He made plans to bring his dirty dolly, home, home, home.
Have you ever touched another’s soul with the essence of your own, breathed them in so they become apart of you?
I have.
Finally starting to live, feel and fall in love, amongst all the chaos surrounding me.
Dropping my guard and letting another into my heart.
I left my soul open.
I left my heart open.
I left the door open.
And he stole me.
Dillon…I’m sorry.
My Review:
Pretty Lost Dolls is book 2 in the Pretty Little Dolls Series. It is co-written by Ker Dukey and K Webster. Their work is incredible individually, but put them together in one book and you get the most disturbing and twisted book yet.
Pretty Lost Dolls had twists and turns everywhere. Just when you thought you could see where they were taking this story, you find out you're wrong, dead wrong. I want to hate Benny, I really do. Lets face it though, it was his childhood that makes him the way he is. Or, at least that's my justification for feeling bad for him. You definitely want to be cautious reading this if you have any triggers, because this is dark. If you've read Pretty Stolen Dolls, Pretty Lost Dolls makes it look like sunshine and rainbows.
I prefer to read books in the first person POV. Dukey and Webster took this to another level by writing from Jade's POV and Benny's POV. We finally get a glimpse into the crazy that is Benny's brain.
Obviously I gave Pretty Lost Dolls 5 stars. It's amazing, its unimaginable, and it's a whole boatload of crazy. What's not to love?
My review is based on the following scale:
1 star: didn't like it
2 star: it was okay
3 star: liked it
4 star: really liked it
5 star: it was awesome
