About Me:

I am a wife, mom of 3 teenagers, and I love to read. I do not limit myself to one genre, but do have some that I prefer. Depending on my mood I will choose a book from RomCom, Romance, Dark Romance, Suspense/Thriller, YA, NA, and SciFi/Fantasy. I would love to share the books I read with you so that you may enjoy them too!

It takes so much courage for an author to put their work out there for the public to read. Then to subject themselves to the opinions of those readers. You will not find disrespectful reviews on this page. Even if a book is not for me, it may be something someone else enjoys. I will not belittle or be nasty to any author, regardless of subject matter. No bashing of person or writing will be tolerated.

My goal by creating this blog is to help authors get their books noticed and to help introduce readers to authors they may not usually read.

Also, please note that any links contained on this website I DO NOT profit from. I do receive advanced reader copies of some of the books I review, but I promise to never let that sway my true feelings on the piece of work.

I am willing to help out as many authors/PAs/promotion companies as I can, but please know that my calendar doesn't always allow for a certain time frame. Please feel free to contact me and I can see if I am able to help. This is a one woman show ;) You can visit my Facebook Page (Like/Follow) at https://www.facebook.com/Reading-Escape-Reviews-279044492594921/ and my email is readingescapereviews@gmail.com

Thank you for stopping by! Oh, and be sure to get on the 2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge. I will be asking periodically for your actual and goal number!

This is the End, Baby by K Webster

This is the End, Baby

War & Peace #7 by K. Webster Publication Date: May 23, 2017 Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Dark Romance
***This is the seventh and final book in the series. First six books must be read in order to fully understand this story line. THIS STORY IS A NOVELLA AND SHORTER THAN THE REST.*** They say the king is the most powerful piece on the board. However, they haven’t met me. This queen knows all the rules. She plays the game better than him. In my game, the queen can knock the king right off the board. Game over. The END. But, I love him. The darkness threatens to make me lose sight of my strategy from time to time, but in the END, love always prevails. Problem is, my black king is playing by a different set of rules. His END game is one he shields from me. It’s a game he plays closely with the white king, the most brilliant player of all. Together, they want to END my game. They want to END me. This queen doesn’t go down without a fight. This queen makes her own rules. This queen will outsmart those who play against her. This is the END, baby. In the END, I am going to win it all. ***Warning*** This is the End, Baby is a dark romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you.

My Review:

This is the End, Baby.  It's over!  This book completes the War and Peace Series by K Webster, and it's a sad day.  Through this series I have learned to love the villain, and even feel some sort of compassion to people that probably do not deserve it.  That is what K Webster does to you.

The War and Peace series needs to be read, in order, to really get the true experience.  Everything feeds off of what happened in the previous book, so if you don't read in order, you will be lost.  This book is filled with a tremendous amount of triggers.  Dark themes and lachanophobia (a fear of vegetables) are prominent in this series, so proceed with caution.

This is the End, Baby, takes us on our final ride with Hannah Bananas.  As usual, K Webster did not disappoint when bringing this series to a close.  However, nothing is ever tied up in a pretty little bow, well, unless Gabe ties it.  If you have followed the journey of War, Baylee, Gabe, Hannah, Diego, Vee, Brie, and the rest of the characters, you MUST finish this.  I can't wait to see what twisted world K Webster takes us to next!

5-star review based on the fact that the series is freaking awesome and it has turned me into a K Webster super-fan!
