BLURB
Kidnapped, tortured, and now a slave, Gwen focused on ways to survive while she waited for an opportunity to escape. She'd planned on being in New York after graduating, starting a new life, and making her dreams come true. But all that was stolen from her one fateful night. With another scratch on the wall to signify the number of days, she knew her time was running out. She would either leave this place alive or die trying.
Nick's debt to an infamous drug lord had finally been paid off. He had plans to move away, start over, and live a peaceful life. But when he comes face to face with an imprisoned sex slave, everything changes. No longer concerned with his own welfare, Nick makes a deal with his boss that'll change everyone's life.
But will it be in time to save the girl?
Un-Breakable. The story of two tormented souls who find comfort and healing in one another only to have it ripped away once again.

MY REVIEW:
This is my first book by S.K. Lessner. When reading a new author, it's hard because you have no idea what to expect. I am so glad that I had the privilege of reading Unbreakable. This book is captivating. If you are looking for a book that can make you feel all the feels, this is it. At one point or another I was angry, sad, happy, smitten, pissed off, wanting to chuck the kindle, and relieved. Like I said, ALL OF THE FEELS! Unbreakable was fantastic. There are a few minor triggers, but I feel that it is important for everyone to read about the reason S.K. Lessner wrote Unbreakable. Kudos to her for overcoming her own situation. Definite 5-star for me. I loved Gwen, she was strong even when she could have been weak. Nick was fantastic and I liked that he never was "above" her, he came with his own baggage. I also think that Lessner picked a perfect time to reveal what that was. As for the other characters. SCUM I SAY, SCUM. Anyhow, it wouldn't have been a story without them ;)
My review is based on the following scale:
1 star: didn't like it
2 star: it was okay
3 star: liked it
4 star: really liked it
5 star: it was awesome
