About Me:

I am a wife, mom of 3 teenagers, and I love to read. I do not limit myself to one genre, but do have some that I prefer. Depending on my mood I will choose a book from RomCom, Romance, Dark Romance, Suspense/Thriller, YA, NA, and SciFi/Fantasy. I would love to share the books I read with you so that you may enjoy them too!

It takes so much courage for an author to put their work out there for the public to read. Then to subject themselves to the opinions of those readers. You will not find disrespectful reviews on this page. Even if a book is not for me, it may be something someone else enjoys. I will not belittle or be nasty to any author, regardless of subject matter. No bashing of person or writing will be tolerated.

My goal by creating this blog is to help authors get their books noticed and to help introduce readers to authors they may not usually read.

Also, please note that any links contained on this website I DO NOT profit from. I do receive advanced reader copies of some of the books I review, but I promise to never let that sway my true feelings on the piece of work.

I am willing to help out as many authors/PAs/promotion companies as I can, but please know that my calendar doesn't always allow for a certain time frame. Please feel free to contact me and I can see if I am able to help. This is a one woman show ;) You can visit my Facebook Page (Like/Follow) at https://www.facebook.com/Reading-Escape-Reviews-279044492594921/ and my email is readingescapereviews@gmail.com

Thank you for stopping by! Oh, and be sure to get on the 2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge. I will be asking periodically for your actual and goal number!

Twist of Fate Trilogy by Tina Saxton

Series: Twist of Fate Trilogy
Author: Tina Saxon
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Suspense
Kindle Unlimited

It's fate that led us to each other. It's fate that we can't be together. When something bad happens, you never hear anyone say, “It must be fate.” Yet fate was to blame for me being home to witness my mother's murder. Fate paved the road my life was destined to take that tragic day. And that road led me directly to him. We were never meant to be. Just a chance encounter with a bad boy who shocked my heart into submission. Until fate pushed me down that road and led me to him again. Our paths didn't just cross, they collided. I need to fight the secrets from my past. He's just fighting for me. Can two people destined to meet survive the devastation fate set in motion? Welcome to my life. Fate hates me.
5-stars!  This book was fan-freakin'-tastic!  The plot was good from the beginning.  I didn't feel like I had to wait to get to the good part.  There were just the right amount of plot twists.  Not all of them were major or mind blowing.  However, there were a couple.  Tina Saxon does a wonderful job getting us into the characters.  The characters are pretty complex, so that is fun trying to peel through their layers.  There were a perfect amount of "extra" characters to keep you wondering what their roll in the plot is.  It is kind of hard to review Fate Hates without giving any spoilers!  You'll just have to read it yourself, and I highly recommend it.  As stated in the blurb, there is a MAJOR cliffhanger, so be prepared.  It will be worth it!

Fate has forced me down a twisted path. When I think it can’t get any worse, it reminds me that it can, pushing me into a thick, thorny maze and leaves deep, irrevocable scars. My will to fight has taken hit after hit, that burnt-out fire leaving only embers to scorch those closest to me. My fears and demons rage inside me, destroying everything … including the man who loves me more than anything. A hidden surprise and new danger brings Aiden back into my life, and he’s just as cocky and gorgeous as when we first met. My body jolts back to life the second we lock eyes, but I’m not ready for those sparks to fly. Can we put aside our feelings and work together to find a killer before it’s too late? Will Fate allow me enough time to heal and glue back the pieces of my life before it decides I need more excitement? No matter what it throws my way, I’ll survive. Right?

First, let me start by saying you MUST read Fate Hates before trying to read Fate Heals.  If not, you will be seriously lost!

Can Addie survive being kidnapped and abused?  Even if she does, will she ever be the same?  Can Aiden and Addie work through the fate that brought them together?

I am giving Fate Heals 5 stars!  I have loved Aiden and Addie since Fate Hates, and the addition to Lexi to this book was fantastic.  I think despite a horrible tragedy, fate put her in the path of someone who needed her.  Max is one of my favorite secondary characters, as well as now Ryker.  If you are looking for a great romantic suspense and one that will keep your attention from page one, you need to read Fate Heals!

Conclusion of the romantic suspense Twist of Fate trilogy. He got down on one knee, and I said yes. Time stood still in a picture-perfect moment. I was finally going to get my happily ever after. Funny thing about moments, the next one can change everything. Aiden and I have spent our whole lives trying to untangle ourselves from an intricate web of truth and lies. We were almost free until the next moment happened and she changed everything. Fate brought us together, and I know we’re meant for each other. I’m not ready to give up. She should already know that I’m a fighter and I’m ready to fight for Aiden. He’s mine and I will get my happily ever after.
As we've learned from Fate Hates and Fate Heals, Addie and Aiden will never lead a simple life.  All Aiden and Addie want is to get married and adopt Lexi.  However, will Addie be able to get past someone being pregnant with Aiden's baby?  Will Addie's actions prevent her from keeping Lexi?  Will Addie and Aiden make it to "I do?"

I have loved this series.  Addie and Aiden are forced to deal with so much, and while in real life we are probably not going to be faced with the exact situations they are, it just goes to show that love can prevail.  The supporting characters become their own version of main characters in Fate Loves.  Ryker still loves antagonizing Aiden and Max is still spoiling Lexi.  Sydney is still trying to make a decision between Damon and Max.  Oh....and Addie learns an interesting piece of information about her family.....dun dun dun!

5 Stars for Fate Loves!

Tina Saxon lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband and two kids. She’s not afraid to try new things because it’s outside the box of typical housewife. CEO of her home is by far the most rewarding job she has ever had. Her jobs include, but are not limited to, seamstress, carpenter, craft extraordinaire, PTA President, chauffeur, dance mom, mediator—of mentioned kids—and author. Once upon a time she was a Financial Analyst but traded budgets and forecasts in for diapers and bottles. The former was definitely easier but the latter more fulfilling.
Tina’s love for reading surged into her passion for writing. Wanting to bring the reader an intriguing story that’s hard to put down with steamy love scenes that heat you up, she’s always thinking of the perfect way to take you down that path.
